Abstract

The objectives of this research were; 1) to study the state of risk management of Phrapariyattidhamma school, General Education Division, Group 3,   2) to study a guideline of risk management of Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, Group 3, and 3) to propose the guideline of risk management of Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, Group 3. The data of this mixed method research were collected by questionnaires from 148 samples and analyzed by mean and standard deviation, and by in-depth interviews with 5 key-informants and analyzed by content analysis.

          The results of the study found that:

The state of risk management of Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, Group 3, in 4 aspects was at a moderate level overall. In details, the highest level was on budget management, followed by personnel management, academic management, and general management respectively.

           The guideline of risk management of Phrapariyattidhamma School, General Education Division, Group 3, was as follows;

           1) To classify the risk management into 8 steps; 1. To study school environment, 2. To set up objectives, 3. to specify the risks, 4. To evaluate the risks, 5. To response to the risks, 6. To design risk control activities, 7. To set up information technology, and 8. To monitor and report.

           2) The teachers should be trained with internal assessment knowledge to support the further external assessment.

           3) To set up plans for curriculum revision and adjustment on teaching and learning process, and supervising system.

           4) To set up a financial committee to examine and monitor the expense and receiving supplies.

           5) Teachers and personnel should be trained in duty performance system and work regulations.

           6) Teachers and personnel should have training courses in other institutions.

           7) Teachers should be inspired and supported to perform their duty in full capability.

           8) Teachers should be encouraged to make lesson plans relevant to course contents.

           9) Students’ work and outcomes should be publicized through social media.

           10) School personnel should be supported to gain more knowledge and skills for school activity development.

           11) The principles of Brahmavihara Dhamma and Bahusacca should be implemented in school management.
